Noise from Area of Overhead Control Panel When Driving on Rough Roads

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding noises from the area of the overhead control panel when driving on rough roads, this may be due to the wires for the makeup mirrors rubbing against the headliner.
1. Remove headliner. Refer to WIS document AR68.30-P-4300P (sedans), AR68.30-P-4300PA (wagons) or AR68.30-P-4300PB (coupes).





2. Fasten wires for the make up lights to the headliner using adhesive backed felt (Figure 1).
3. Reinstall headliner. Refer to WIS document AR68.30-P-4300P (sedans), AR68.30-P-4300PA (wagons) or AR68.30-P-4300PB (coupes).
