Noise from Ashtray/Storage Compartment





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding a noise from the ashtray/storage compartment, this may be due to the cover (Figure 1, A1) rubbing against the housing. To resolve, open the cover and apply 2 square sections of felt to the back side of the cover (Figure 1, B1). The cover is shown removed (Figure 1, B1) to identify the correct locations of the felt strips; however, do not remove the cover to perform remedy.
