AZ82.60-P-0006-03QA Retrofit MOST Fiber Optic Cable Wiring Harness

Risk of breakage: Do not kink or stretch fiber optic cables and do not route them over sharp edges. The bending radius must not be smaller than 25 mm. Clamps or cable ties for securing the fiber optic cables must not be fastened too tightly.

1 Remove coupling housing (21) from MOST coupling of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20).

The MOST coupling housing (21) is no longer required.


Component Identification:







2 Unclip cover (24) from MOST fiber optic cable connector (26) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness in direction of arrow.







3 Release catch tab (25) of MOST fiber optic cable connector (26) and remove fiber optic cable module IN (22) from MOST fiber optic cable connector (26) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness.

The fiber optic cable module OUT (23) remains in the MOST fiber optic cable connector (26) of the MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness.





Component Identification:









4 Remove on-board MOST coupling (28) from fiber optic cable connector (45).
5 Remove blue retaining clip (30) from MOST coupling (28).
6 Remove on-board MOST fiber optic cable (29) from contact cavity 2 (output) of on-board MOST coupling (28).
7 Fit free end of fiber optic cable module IN (22) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness in contact cavity 2 (output) of on-board MOST coupling (28).
8 Fit blue retaining clip (30) in MOST coupling (28).
9 Fit on-board MOST coupling (28) in fiber optic cable connector (45).
10 Fit on-board MOST fiber optic cable (29) in MOST fiber optic cable connector (26) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness.
11 Clip on cover (24) from MOST fiber optic cable connector (26) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness in direction of arrow.
12 Connect sound amplifier connector (44) and fiber optic cable connector (45) of on-board wiring harness (46) to sound amplifier (A2/13).
13 Route MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) and MOST fiber optic cable connector (26) as per picture and secure on body together with wake-up branch-off line (53) of SDAR wiring harness using self-adhesive felt (see arrows).
14 Route MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) to SDAR control unit (1) as per picture and secure to on-board wiring harnesses.
15 Connect MOST coupling (27) of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (20) to connector (63) of SDAR wiring harness on SDAR control unit (1).
