Actuation possibilities for convenience feature:
^ Convenience opening/closing with transmitter key (A8/1)
^ Convenience opening/closing with soft top control button S84/10)
^ Convenience opening/closing with air recirculation switch (N22s2) (on vehicles except code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning)
^ Convenience opening/closing via Air recirculation switch (N22/7s2) (on vehicles with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning)
^ Convenience closing with left door handle switch (S17/19) and right door handle switch (S17/21) (on vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go)

With the convenience opening/closing function via transmitter key (A8/1) and convenience opening/closing via control button (S84/10) all side windows and the soft top can be closed and opened.

The soft top can only be opened or closed if all side windows are open. This prevent collisions between the soft top and side windows.
Only the side windows are actuated with the functions convenience opening/closing via air recirculation switch (N22s2) (on vehicles except code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning) or air recirculation switch (N22/7s2) (on vehicles with code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning) and convenience closing via keyless-go (on vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go), however, not the soft top.

The left door control unit (N69/1) actuates the left front power window motor (M10/3), the right door control unit (N69/2) actuate the right front power window motor (M10/4). The left rear power window motor (M10/5), right rear power window motor (M10/6) and soft top mechanism hydraulic un (A7/5) are actuated by the soft top mechanism control unit (N52).

All side windows and the soft top can be closed or opened with the convenience opening/closing function via transmitter key (A8/1).
