Component Identification:

Due to a modified fit of the bearing seat in the oil pan the intermediate shaft can no longer be pulled out by hand.

Remove
1 Remove right front axle shaft.
2 Remove circlip.
3 Drive out the intermediate shaft (arrows) through the front axle differential using a punch (3 mm) and extension.

Position the punch accurately otherwise the toothing may be damaged.

Install
4 Using press out/in tool (sleeve 02) and press in the drift as far as the stop on the ball bearing outer race.
5 Install circlip.
6 Install the right-hand front axle shaft.
