G. Installing the push-to-talk (PTT) lever





1. Remove the plastic plug from the mounting hole for the PTT lever on the right side of the steering column (Figure 28) by carefully inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the slot in the plug and carefully prying it out.

2. Insert the PTT lever into the mounting hole (Figure 28) rotating it until its grooves interlock with the teeth in the mounting hole and then push the lever completely into the mounting hole.
