Detaching Tool for Washer System Hoses
Hoses for the washer system in the above model vehicles are now fitted with quick release fittings. If a washer fluid hose or the heat exchanger needs to be replaced or the washer fluid reservoir needs to be removed, special tool, 230 589 13 63 00, is required. Figure 1 demonstrates how the tool is used to disconnect a line.
Special Tool
This special tool will automatically be released to all MB dealers in June 2004.
