With the Universal Portable CTEL Interface (UPCI) system, all calls are made with the portable CTEL (A34/6) via the hands-free system.

The user has several ways of accepting the call:
- By pressing the "Accept call" button on the portable CTEL (A34/6).
- Pressing the accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3) on the multifunction steering wheel (MFL).
- By pressing the "Accept call" button in the control panel on the bottom right-hand side of the audio device installed.
