Hinge for Trunk Partition Panel Broken

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the hinge for the trunk partition panel is broken and the panel is out of its normal position, follow the below steps to replace the hinge pin which will resolve this condition.





1. Open roof to the position shown (Figure 1).





2. Remove broken hinge pin(s) (Figure 2, arrow).





Note:
Hinge pin has a predetermined break point (Figure 3, circle).

3. Insert new hinge pin towards the center of the car.
