K. Installing the Push-to-Talk (PTT) Lever For the Voice Control System (VCS)

1. Remove the plastic plug in the mounting hole for the PTT lever on the right side of the steering column by carefully inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the slot in the plug and prying it out (Figure 34).





2. Insert the PTT lever into the mounting hole rotating it until its grooves interlock with the teeth in the mounting hole and then push the lever completely into the mounting hole (Figure 35).
