Noise from Rear Backrest While Driving on Rough Roads





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles about a rattling noise coming from the rear backrest lock when driving on rough roads, this may be caused by a slight displacement of the backrest. To resolve, slightly lift the rear shelf and apply self-adhesive foam block (30 x 20 x 13 mm) onto the cross member in the body shell (Figure 1).

Note:
Do not remove backrest. Do not use felt strips.
