GF82.30-P-4007PP Slowing Down Wiper Motor, Function

MODEL 203.0 /2 /7 up to Model Year 8

Following the completion of a wiping operation, the wipers must come to a stop in the park position.
The wiper motor (M6/1) has a cam switch for detection of the park position. When the motor runs through the park position, the cam switch is actuated.
The signal from the camshaft (circuit 31b) is continuously inquired by the front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

Requirements
The wiper motor M6/1) is stopped only when
- the wiper motor (M6/1) is switched off (combination switch (S4) in position "0") or
- intermittent wiping is switched on (combination switch (S4) in position "I" (windshield)) and wipers are presently in an intermittent pause or
- afterwiping has been completed.

Brake application
In order to brake, the wiper ON/OFF relay (N10/1kQ) is short- circuited by the front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via an electronic switch as soon as the wiper ON/OFF relay (N10/1kQ) is safely in park position and no longer bounces.

Discontinuation of deceleration operation
The deceleration operation is discontinued when:
- an intermittent pause has expired,
- the combination switch is moved to position "II" or "III" or
- c. 15R is switched off.
