Difficulty Opening Doors from Outside the Vehicle





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of difficulty opening the doors from the outside of the vehicle, this may be due to insufficient lubrication in the door lock mechanism. To resolve, apply a small amount of lubricant to the main detent tooth of the rotary tumbler (Figure 1).

Note:
Only a small amount of lubricant is needed.
