Interior - Rear Door Sun Blind Loose/Rattling

Equipped with Rear Door Sun Blinds (SA code 297)
Dust Cover Strip of the Rear Door Sun Blind Loose/Rattling

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the dust cover strip of the rear door sun blind is loose and/or is rattling, this may be due to the cover strip loosening over a period of time. Refer to the below procedure to resolve the issue.

1. Roll down window and detach cover strip.

2. Attach two retaining clips onto the cover strip (Figure 1).







3. Reinstall cover strip. Figure 2 illustrates the slot which the cover strip slides into and Figure 3 illustrates the cover strip in place.












NOTE: Be sure to push the strip down all the way to ensure maximum hold.

4. Roll both sun blinds up and down, and ensure proper functionality.

NOTE: Perform procedure on both rear door sun blinds to prevent loosening or rattling in the future.
