If the instrument cluster is activated, the basic display "Trip
odometer and total mileage" always appears in the multifunction
display.

Only those systems fitted in the vehicle are displayed.

Operating the systems with the multifunction steering wheel (MFL)
Most systems can be selected, activated and adjusted with the following multifunction steering wheel buttons:
^ Scroll forward/back button (S110s1)
^ System select button (S110s3)
^ "Back" and VCS [SBS] off button (S110s4)
^ OK button (S110s6)
^ Buttons + and -
^ for setting specific functions and volume control (S111s1)
^ Accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3)
^ VCS on button (S111s4)
^ Mute button (S111s6)


Component Identification:






Selecting a main menu item
Function requirements for selecting a main menu item is "circuit 15R ON".
The main menu items are displayed next to each other in the multifunction display under the electronic speedometer. They are arranged next to each other in a continuous loop. As there is insufficient space available in order to display all main menu items simultaneously, only 3 to 4 main menu items are always displayed at the same time.
The desired main menu item can be selected with the system selection button. The selected main menu item is highlighted in color. The corresponding submenu is faded in in the center of the multifunction display.

Selecting a submenu item
The submenu items are faded in under each other in the center of
the multifunction display. The desired submenu item can be
selected with the scroll forward and back button. The selected main
menu item is highlighted in color. The submenu item can be
adjusted with the OK button and the "back" and VCS Off button.

Perform adjustment of a submenu item
Using the OK button it is possible to change over between the various settings of the submenu item. If the desired setting is displayed, the submenu item can be stored and exited using the "back" and VCS button. The display returns quickly to the submenu.

Exit menu items
Using the "back" and VCS Off button it is possible to skip back to the previous menu.

Press the OK button until the "daytime running lamps On" appears. Exit the adjustment of the submenu item using the "Back" and VCS [SBS] off button.
