Location
The refrigerant shutoff valve is located in the left front wheelhouse.

Task
Since only one refrigerant compressor (A9) is installed in the vehicle, the coolant flow to the rear evaporator is controlled via the refrigerant shutoff valve.

The AAC [KLA] control unit (N22/1) blocks the flow through the shutoff valve, if the rear air conditioning is switched off or before the evaporator of the rear air conditioning ices up.
