Function
The individual multicontour seats (MCS) can be adjusted manually via the RCP [HBF] control unit.

On vehicles with code (276) Rear memory, the rear MCS can be automatically adjusted via the left rear seat operation switch group or via the right rear seat operation switch group, or the adjusted positions can be stored.

The air cushions are located as follows:
^ in side area of seat backrest
^ in lumbar support area (top, center, and bottom) of the seat backrest

Lumbar support = curvature of spine in lumbar region.

Manually adjust function sequence
By pressing the left seat selection button (N72/2s12) or the right seat selection button (N72/2s13) in the RCP [HBF] control unit, the corresponding MCS can be selected.

The air cushions are adjusted manually by filling or purging them via the backrest side seat contour button (N72/2s14), the lumbar support seat contour button (N72/2s15) or the lumbar support height adjustment button (N72/2s16).

Automatically adjust function sequence
When the corresponding memory switch (S55/1s7, S55/1s8, S55/1s9, S55/2s7, S55/2s8 or S55/2s9) in the particular rear seat operation switch group is pressed and held depressed, the system moves to the corresponding seat and air cushion setting.

When the corresponding memory switch is released, the adjustment process is aborted immediately.
