Navigation - Not Able To Enter Destination

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that when selecting "Enter destination" from main navigation screen the screen changes momentarily to the "Destination Entry" screen and returns to main navigation menu not allowing them to enter a destination, do not replace any parts.

Note:
Should be checked at PDI

Ensure that vehicle has GPS reception and the latest navigation DVD is installed in the navigation module located in the trunk. Enter a destination via the map and wait until the route calculation is calculated and then cancel route guidance by following the below steps.

1. Select navigation screen by pressing NAV button

2. Select "Enter destination" and press OK

3. Select "MAP" by pressing button next display

4. Press OK to accept destination pointed by crosshair

5. Wait until route calculation is completed

6. Press NAV button and cancel current route guidance

7. Verify if the navigation system is functioning correctly. If the problem still exists, please contact TAC for additional assistance.
