- with CODE (477) Tire pressure loss warning

The driver information of the tire pressure loss warning (RDW) is output via the instrument cluster (A1).

A distinction is made between the following:
^ information messages and
^ warning messages

The information messages can be called up in the instrument cluster via the tire pressure loss warning (RDW) menu.

The warning messages appear automatically.

Information message 1:





Information message 1
The tire pressure loss warning (RDW) is nonfunctional.

Possible causes are:
^ Sensor fault in Electronic Stability Program control unit (N3014)
^ Undefined signal or no signal via chassis CAN

Information message 2:





Information message 2
Operating acknowledgment after reactivation.

Warning message 1:





Warning message 1
Tire pressure loss warning without position specification.

If there is a significant pressure loss, the warning message appears after the vehicle has been driven for a few minutes.

Warning message 2:





Warning message 2
Reminder message in the event of an ignition restart following tire pressure loss warning.

The message is repeated each time the ignition is switched on, provided that the tire pressure loss warning (RDW) has not been reactivated.
