DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury with caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and goggles. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove cover (1)
3 Remove overhead control panel control module (N70)

NOTE: Detach only coupling for inside rearview mirror unit (A67).

4 Twist inside rearview mirror unit (A67)
5 Insert drift into the lateral opening of the inside rearview mirror unit bracket (A67)
6 Twist inside rearview mirror unit bracket (A67)

CAUTION!
Removal: Do not damage windshield!

7 Expose line up to inside rearview mirror unit (A67)
8 Remove inside rearview mirror unit (A67)
9 Install in the reverse order
10 Perform basic programming
11 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
12 Check for proper function
