Location
The activate button and the actuation button are located in the center console.

Task
The activate button is activated for 6 s when the actuation button is pressed.The actuation button is illuminated permanently and the activate button flashes.

If, during this time period, the activate button is held down for 1 s, the fresh air emergency system is actuated.
The activate button and the actuation button are read in by the fresh air system emergency control unit (N142).
