Creaking Noises When Opening/Closing Armrest Lid





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of creaking noises when opening/closing the armrest lid (Figure 1, circle) on the front doors, this may be due to insufficient lubrication of the hinge. To resolve, lubricate the hinge at each exposed gap (Figure 2, circles) and where the hinge comes in contact with the leather (Figure 3, circles).
