Note:
Step 2 (Condition A) of this repair is non-time claimable under Group 68.
3. Reinstall upper instrument cluster panel, see WIS document AR54.25-P-1000SX.
B. Creaking Noises Located at the Bottom of the Instrument Cluster (Figure 1, 2) - The positioning tab of the cover under the instrument cluster rubs against the opposing rib of the switch panel.
Remedy B:
1. Remove lower instrument cluster panel, see WIS document AR54.25-P-1000SX.
2. Bond a 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm piece of tricot tape to both sides of tab on the instrument cluster panel as shown in Figure 3.
3. Bond a 7 mm x 5 cm piece of tricot tape on the underside of the instrument cluster panel as shown in Figure 3.
Note:
Step 2 and 3 (Condition B) of this repair are non-time claimable under Group 68.
4. Reinstall lower instrument cluster panel, see WIS document AR54.25-P-1000SX. Note: Verify tricot tape is not visible when instrument cluster panel is reinstalled.
C. Creaking Noises Located at the Sides of the Lower Central Display Cover (Figure 1, 3) - Contact surfaces of the central display cover rub against the opposing components of the ventilation cover.

1. Remove lower instrument cluster panel, see WIS document AR54.25-P-1000SX.
2. Bond a 7 mm x 1 cm piece of tricot tape at both ends on the instrument cluster panel as shown in Figure 4.
