Location
The telescopic nozzles are beneath the left front lamp unit (E1) and the right front lamp unit (E2), concealed by flaps in the bumper.

Design
The telescopic nozzle is a hydraulically extending telescopic element with integrated return springs.

Function
Driven by the water pressure, the telescopic nozzles first extend to the cleaning position. Then the flaps in the bumper open. An additional increase in water pressure causes a valve to open at each telescopic nozzle, and washer fluid is sprayed out. When the pressure drops, the telescopic nozzles return to their original positions through return springs and the flaps in the bumper are closed, also by the force of return springs.
