^ Warning buzzer
^ Extinguishing agent reservoir squibs
Discrete inputs
^ Circuit 30
^ Circuit 31
^ Circuit 15
^ Distance covered signal
^ Fire extinguishing system temperature sensor
^ Pressure monitoring switch
^ Fire extinguishing system switch
^ Activation button
Automatic actuation
The fire extinguishing system temperature sensor permanently determines the ambient temperature. These values are evaluated by the fire extinguishing system control unit and when the threshold value is exceeded, the extinguishing procedure is started by igniting the extinguishing agent reservoir squibs.
Manual activation
When the activation button is pressed, the fire extinguishing system switch can be actuated. The extinguishing procedure is started by igniting the extinguishing agent reservoir squibs.
Monitoring
The fire extinguishing system control unit monitors the temperature sensor for signal failure and plausibility.
The pressure in the fire extinguishing bottles is determined by the pressure monitoring switch. At a pressure of < 40 bar, the fire extinguishing system control unit outputs a warning message via the warning buzzer and the LED in the fire extinguishing system switch.
Self-test
When circuit 15 is switched on, the LED's in the fire extinguishing system switch and the activation button comes for approx. 10 s. Simultaneously the warning buzzer is actuated.
If a warning is still activated after expiration of this time, the fire extinguishing system control unit has recognized a fault and the fire extinguishing system is out of order.
