The individual switch states are read in voltage-coded by the left door control unit (N69/1) or by the right door control unit (N69/2). By actuating
^ the seat forward/back switch (S91/2s1), the driver seat can be moved forward or back.
^ the seat forward/back switch (S92/2s1), the front passenger seat can be moved forward or back.
^ the rear seat raise/lower switch (S91/2s2), the rear driver seat height can be adjusted.
^ the seat front raise/lower switch (S91/2s3), the front driver seat height can be adjusted.
^ the rear seat raise/lower switch (S92/2s2), the rear front passenger seat height can be adjusted.
^ the seat front raise/lower switch (S92/2s3), the front front passenger seat height can be adjusted.
^ the head restraint raise/lower switch (S91/2s4), the driver seat head restraint can be moved up or down.
^ the head restraint raise/lower switch (S92/2s4), the front passenger seat head restraint can be moved up or down.
^ the backrest switch (S91/2s5), the backrest angle of the driver seat can be adjusted.
^ the backrest switch (S92/2s5), the backrest angle of the front passenger seat can be adjusted.
^ the seat cushion fore/aft switch (S91/2s10), the driver seat cushion can be moved forward or back.
^ the seat cushion fore/aft switch (S92/2s10), the front passenger seat cushion can be moved forward or back.
^ the memory switch (S91/2s9) and the storage space switch (S91/2s6, S91/2s7 or S91/2s8), the set driver positions can be stored.

For the memory function of the left door seat adjustment switch group (S91/2), the following settings are stored in every storage space by key:
- the seat and backrest position of the driver seat
- the steering wheel position
- the inside rearview mirror position
- the outside mirror position on the driver side
- the outside mirror position on the driver side

By actuating
^ the memory switch (S92/2s9) and the storage space switch (S92/2s6, S92/2s7 or S92/2s8), the set front passenger seat positions can be stored.
^ the storage space 1 switch (S91/2s6), the storage space 2 switch (S91/2s7) or the storage space 3 switch (S91/2s8), the stored driver seat positions can be called up at will.
^ the storage space 1 switch (S92/2s6), the storage space 2 switch (S92/2s7) or the storage space 3 switch (S92/2s8), the stored front passenger seat positions can be called up at will.

For vehicles with code (873) - left and right front heated seats - actuating
^ the heated seat switch, stages 1 and 2 (S91/2s18) switches the driver heated seat on and off.
^ the heated seat switch, stages 1 and 2 (S92/2s18) switches the front passenger heated seat on and off.

For vehicles with code (401a) - front deluxe seats, incl. seat heating and seat ventilation - actuating
^ the seat ventilation switch (S91/2s17) can switch the driver seat ventilation on and off.
^ the seat ventilation switch (S92/2s17) can switch the front passenger seat ventilation on and off.
