GF27.60-P-5166AHI Reversing and Parking Pawl Locking Solenoid Component Description

GF27.60-P-5166AHI Reversing and parking pawl locking solenoid component description
- TRANSMISSION 722.930

Component Identification:

Location
The reversing and park pawl locking solenoid is integrated into the electronic selector lever module control unit.

Task
Depending on the requirement, the reversing and park pawl locking solenoid prevents any shifting out of the "P" selector lever position or any change from the "N" to "R" selector lever position (R/P interlock).

Design of R/P interlock
- Locking lever
- Reversing and parking lock locking solenoid
- Rocker
- Rocker leaf spring
- Rocker arm
- Rocker arm leaf spring

Component Identification:

At a vehicle speed of >8 km/h the reversing and parking lock locking solenoid is actuated by the electronic selector lever module control unit. The rocker arm presses on the rocker which is twisted into the locking position.

The locking lever abuts the rocker and the selector lever cannot be moved into selector lever position "R".

Component Identification:

The selector lever position "P" is locked if the reversing and parking lock locking solenoid is not actuated by the electronic selector lever module control unit.
The preconditions are:

- No power supply to the electronic selector lever module control unit
- Brake pedal not actuated

Under these conditions the rocker is held in front of the locking lever by the spring force of the leaf spring.

The selector lever cannot be shifted away from position "P". At "circuit 15 ON" and when the brake pedal is depressed the reversing and parking lock locking solenoid is actuated. The rocker arm presses on the rocker and the selector lever can be shifted out of selector lever position "P".
