GF67.29-P-2005R Low Voltage Cut-Out, Function
If the rear SAM control module (N10/8) U detects an undervoltage (U Batt of less than 10.5 V) for at least t=5 s during the ON period, the rear SAM control module (N10/8) switches off the heated rear window (R1).
In this case, the LED in the AAC pushbutton control module (N22) flashes.
If the voltage rises within t=30 s. again to more than 11.5 Volt, the heated rear window (R1) is switched on again automatically and the LED comes on and remains on.
The ON period is not affected by the duration of the undervoltage. If, however, an undervoltage exists for more than t=30 s, the heated rear window (R1) is switched off completely.
If the heated rear window (R1) is switched off, it must be activated again at the rear window defroster switch (N22s1).
The heated rear window (R1) is also switched off completely if an extreme undervoltage or overvoltage exists (voltage less than 8 V or greater than 17 V). In such a case, it must be switched on again at the rear window defroster switch (N22s1).
