Function
The evaporator temperature sensor (B10/6) is located in the air flow behind the evaporator. It transmits a resistance value, which depends on the evaporator temperature, to the AC control and operating unit (N22).

The refrigerant compressor (A9) is switched off when the evaporator temperature reaches 2 °C. This serves to prevent the evaporator from icing up.
