Ashtray Closes Poorly or Sticks





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the center console ashtray closing poorly or sticking, this may be due to the left side dampener mounting coming into contact with the ashtray housing. To resolve, remove the left side dampener mounting (Figure 1, arrows/highlighted area) using side cutting pliers.
