Previously Selected COMAND Display Incline Angle Not Saved After It Is Retracted and Extended

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the COMAND head unit display (A40/8) previously selected incline angle is not saved after the display is retracted then extended, this is a normal operation for vehicles which were produced November 2007 and later. In vehicles produced after this date with part number A204 820 46 97, the display will always revert to the end position.

Do not replace any parts; any unnecessary replacements will be debited.
