Headlamp Nonfunctional, Possible Moisture Penetration

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the headlamp is nonfunctional with at least one of the above fault codes and/or that there is moisture in the headlamp unit, there may be inadequate bonding of the lens which may cause moisture to collect at the lowest point of the headlamp and may enter the XALWA control unit. To resolve, remove the headlamp from the vehicle and disassemble the XALWA control unit. If there are traces of corrosion on the pins, the entire headlamp must be replaced.
