Component Identification:

1 Bond iPod Interface (1) with felt tape (2) as illustrated.

The connection (arrow) of the iPod wiring harness is located in the upper right.

2 Centrally align two of the Velcro strips (3) and press together firmly.
3 Remove one side of protective foil and glue Velcro strips (3), as illustrated, onto the iPod interface (1).







4 Set down glove box in front passenger footwell.
5 Connect black iPod wiring harness coupling (9) to iPod interface (1).
6 Connect black 18-pin coupling (6) to iPod interface (1).
7 Assemble white 2-pin coupling (11) on iPod wiring harness (8) with white 2-pin connector (7) on iPod interface wiring harness (2) and fix in place on iPod interface (1) using felt tape as illustrated.







8 Fold over insulation material (4) on inside of side piece (5) to one side.
9 Clean bonding surfaces on inside of side piece (5).

The bonding surfaces must be dry, free of dust and grease.

10 Remove protective foils of Velcro strips on iPod interface (1).
11 Position iPod interface (1), as illustrated, on inside of side piece (5), press on firmly, and fold back insulation material (4).

Ensure that the wiring harnesses routed in the working area are not kinked or squeezed.
