GF07.61-P-3016AMG ME-SFI Part Load/Full Load Operation, Function

Partial load operation:
When the engine is at operating temperature, optimal exhaust emission values and low-cost fuel consumption are assured with the lambda control.

Full load operation
For fully opened throttle valves and an engine speed dependent intake manifold length one achieves the maximum engine torque. To do this injection times are extended appropriately and the ignition angle adjusted to "advanced".

The relevant quantity of fuel is metered to the engine in line with the map.

About 10 to 90% of the slewing range on the accelerator pedal sensor is partial load and more than about 90% of the slewing range is defined as full load.

The metered fuel quantity depends on:
- Engine load
- Load requirement via the CAN data bus
- Engine speed
- Air mass
- Intake air pressure
- Coolant temperature
- Intake air temperature (only in warming-up phase)
- Lambda control
- Intake manifold length (variable intake manifold)
- Camshaft position
- Ignition angle
