Component Identification:

Location
The shift pressure control solenoid valve is located on the supporting body of the electric controller unit and is pressed against the shift plate valve body by means of a leaf spring.

Task
The shift pressure control solenoid valve controls the shift pressure depending on the constantly changing operating conditions (e.g. load change and gear change). The shift pressure control solenoid valve has a snug fit and is sealed with a gap seal facing the shift plate valve body. The contact springs on the shift pressure control solenoid valve grip into a slot in the conductor tracks. The spring force of the contact springs means that reliable contacting is guaranteed.
