Component Identification:

Location
A shift pressure shift valve belongs to each shift group. The 1 - 2 or 4 - 5 shift pressure shift valve and 2 - 3 shift pressure shift valve 2 - 3 are installed in the valve body of the valve body assembly. The 34 shift pressure shift valve is installed in the shift plate valve housing.

Task
Each shift pressure shift valve assigns a corresponding shift pressure to an engaging shift element. At the same time the regulated overlap pressure is assigned by the regulating valve overlap pressure to the disengaging shift element.

Component Identification:

Function
Working pressure is applied to the shift pressure shift valve on the end face via the command valve. During the shifting phase, its shifting state is maintained, by replacing the variable shift element pressure acting on the end face during the shifting phase, with a corresponding constant pressure.

When the multidisk clutch is engaged the end face of the shift pressure shift valve is unpressurized during the steady-state and shift phase, the shift condition also being retained here during the shift phase.
