Ignition OFF, general points
For ignition OFF, first the engine and then the engine control is switched off in the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).

Ignition OFF function sequence
When the ignition is OFF, the EIS control unit (N73) switches off terminal 87 relay and motor (N10/1kR). There is therefore no power supply through "tml. 87 M1" and "tml. 87 M2".

When the ME-SFI control unit no longer receives voltage through "tml. 87 M1", the engine is switched off by switching off the fuel injection valves (Y62) and ignition coils (T1).
The ME-SFI control unit also switches off the engine control.

The ME-SFI control unit has no power-down.
