GF07.61-P-4023CY ME-SFI Transmission Shift Delay, Function
GF07.61-P-4023CY ME-SFI Transmission Shift Delay, Function
- with CODE (427) 7-speed automatic transmission
- up to model year 08
The transmission shift delay is designed to warm up the catalytic converters more rapidly to operating temperature after engine start. The transmission shift delay is fully electronic. No additional components are required.
The ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) requests to the electronic transmission control control unit (N15/3) via the drive train CAN (CAN C) to shift the switching lines. Partial load gear shifts (1-2-1, 2-3-2) thus take place at higher engine speeds or at higher vehicle speeds.
Further moving off only takes place when drive program C is selected.
The transmission shift delay is active for maximum of 60 s, if:
^ Coolant temperature at start <35 °C
^ Speed < 40 km/h
