GF91.29-P-2003TX Call Up Stored Seat Position, Function
- with CODE (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)
- with CODE (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory

Component Identification:

Function requirements
^ Voltage not to high or too low
^ Circuit 15R On or corresponding front door open (up to 31.5.07)

Move to stored positions
In order to move to a stored seat position, the relevant memory location switch must be pressed and held down at the seat adjustment switch group until the stored location is reached. If the switch is released, the adjustment procedure is terminated immediately.

Automatically moving to the last set seat position (up to 30.5.05)
The last driving position of the driver seat, steering column and outside mirror will be set, key-related, when the transmitter key (A8/1) is inserted into the EIS control unit with the door closed. The key dependency can be switched off in the instrument cluster (A1).

When the seat is adjusted longitudinally to the rear, the backrest, longitudinal position and rear height are adjusted before the head restraint to prevent a collision between the head restraint and the headliner.

The position recognition for the seats is performed by one Hall sensor each in the adjustment motors.

Abort conditions:
Moving to a stored position is interrupted when:
^ Undervoltage or overvoltage
^ Manual seat adjustment
^ Manual mirror adjustment (only driver)
^ Manual steering column adjustment (only driver)
