- with CODE (401) Front deluxe seats, including seat heating and seat ventilation

Component Identification:

Function of heated driver or front passenger seats
The heated seats HS [SIH] heat up the seat cushions and the backrests of the driver or front passenger seat via the integrated heated cushions. In the process, the heat output can be adjusted in three heating stages.

The different heating stages are achieved by means of pulsed actuation of the heated cushions.

The heated seats HS [SIH] are operated via the left front HS [SIH] switch or the right front HS [SIH] switch, which are read in by the upper control panel control unit.

In the process, the function conditions are displayed via three red LEDs in the left front HS [SIH] switch or in the right front HS [SIH] switch.

Function of the left or right rear seat heater (with code (872) Electrically heated left and right rear seats)
The heated seats HS [SIH] heat up the seat cushions, the backrests, and the side pieces of the left or right rear seats via the integrated heated cushions. In the process, the heat output can be adjusted in three heating stages.

The different heating stages are achieved by means of pulsed actuation of the heated cushions.

The heated seats HS [SIH] of the left rear seat are operated via the left rear HS [SIH] switch, which is read in by the left rear door control unit via the switching bus.

The heated seats HS [SIH] of the right rear seat are operated via the right rear HS [SIH] switch, which is read in by the right rear door control unit via the switching bus.

In the process, the function conditions are displayed via three red LEDs in the left rear HS [SIH] switch or in the right rear HS [SIH] switch.
