Variable Speed Limiter
The Variable Speed Limiter enables the driver to set an individual maximum speed in the range of 30 km/h up to the maximum speed.

Permanent Speed Limiter
The Permanent Speed Limiter allows the driver to set (limit) the maximum speed of the vehicle (e.g. for winter tires with a lower permissible maximum speed).

Plus Light intelligent cruise control
Using a radar sensor, autonomous intelligent cruise control maintains the vehicle at a target distance from the vehicle ahead, set by the driver, and alerts the driver via visual and audible signals before dangerous situations arise.
The electronic system automatically activates the brakes when the distance to the preceding vehicle decreases, and accelerates automatically back to the stored target speed as soon as the traffic situation allows.

Distance warning system (AWS)
The proximity warning system is an additional function of autonomous intelligent cruise control. It warns the driver in the speed range of 30 to 250 km/h of moving or stationary obstacles in his lane The driver can activate or deactivate the autonomous intelligent cruise control separately via a menu in the instrument cluster (A1) independently of the distance control.

BAS PLUS (Brake Assist System PLUS)
The function BAS PLUS is an additional function of the Brake Assist System (BAS), which assists the driver by means of specific calculations of the brake force. The current danger zone and the closing speed are constantly monitored. If the driver is forced to brake suddenly due to traffic, BAS PLUS ensures a quick build-up of the brake pressure calculated for the situation in hand.
