Work on a high-voltage system or on hybrid components may only be conducted by skilled workshop personnel.
All high-voltage components fitted in the vehicle are marked by yellow warning stickers.
All high-voltage lines fitted in the vehicle are marked with the warning color orange

^ Check wiring harness:
If the chafe protection or lines are damaged due to external influences (e.g. bitten by animals), the lines must be replaced immediately. A repair is not permissible.
^ Checking after an accident:
Check the high-voltage system for external damage and defects.
If defects or damage can be detected on components or lines, the components or lines must be replaced immediately. Repairing the components or lines is not permissible.
^ Automatic high-voltage on-board electrical system-shutoff in the event of an accident: The shutoff of the high-voltage battery in the case of an accident as well as discharge of the complete high-voltage on-board electrical system take place in two stages:
1. When triggering emergency tensioning retractors in stage 1:
Shutting off the high-voltage on-board electrical system can be reversed by switching the ignition on and off.
2. When triggering emergency tensioning retractors in stage 2:
Shutting off the high-voltage on-board electrical system is irrevocable. In this case the pyrotechnical separating element triggers and the high-voltage on-board electrical system is shut down.
