Component Identification:

Location
The condenser is located behind the radiator grille, immediately in front of the radiator.

Task
The condenser ensures that the refrigerant compressed by the refrigerant compressor (A9) changes state from gaseous to liquid.

Function
The hot refrigerant compressed by the refrigerant compressor flows into the condenser from above. The coiled pipes and lamellae absorb this heat rapidly and release it into the outside air.

This in turn cools the refrigerant. While it is cooling down to a specific, pressure-sensitive temperature, the refrigerant condenses and is liquefied.
