GF80.20-P-3014TX Unlock With Emergency Release, Function

The "Emergency opening" function unlocks the vehicle doors following an accident. This function is actuated by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) by an integrated crash sensor.

After a waiting time from 8 to 11 s the rear SAM control module transmits the unlocking command via the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B).

The door control modules (N69/1, N69/2, N69/3 and N69/4) then actuate the corresponding CL motor (M14/5, M14/6, M14/8 and M14/9) to unlock the door locks.

The "Emergency opening" function has priority over all other central locking functions (CL).
