Task
Operating the rear head restraints switch in the overhead control panel control unit causes the driver request for the rear head restraints to be lowered to be relayed to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2)

Design
The rear head restraints switch is designed as a rocker switch. It automatically returns to its starting position after it has been operated.

Function
The operation of the rear head restraints switch is read in by the upper control panel control unit and relayed to the rear SAM control unit via the interior CAN as a CAN message. When the rear head restraints switch is released, the message is canceled.
