Location
The xenon headlamp ignition modules are located at the rear of the xenon bulbs in each case.

Task
The xenon headlamp ignition modules ignite the xenon bulbs via a high-voltage surge.
The xenon headlamp ignition modules are actuated by the driver side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the corresponding xenon headlamp supply module (E1n4 and E2n4).
