Service B

Brake system
- Perform brake test on test stand

Vehicle interior
- Instrument cluster: Reset ASSYST PLUS service interval indicator
- Replace combination filter

Complete wheels, brakes
- Check complete wheels for damage and crack formation, measure tread depth and record
Note: See "Tire tread depth" table

- Front and rear axle: Check brake lining thickness
Note: Only if no customer interview has been conducted

Underside of vehicle
- Check all visible parts for leaks and damage
Note: In the case of fluid loss, determine the cause and rectify, subject to a separate invoice

- Front axle: Check ball joints for play, check condition of rubber boots
- Check condition of flex disks
- Check tie rod joints and drag link joints for play, check rubber boots for condition

Engine compartment
- Check all visible parts for leaks and damage
Note: In the case of fluid loss, determine the cause and rectify, subject to a separate invoice

- Clean water deflector
Note Clean visible part only

- Check poly-V belt for wear and damage
Note: Check the visible are only. Replace if worn and damaged, subject to a separate invoice.

- Brake system: Check/correct brake fluid level
Note In case of brake fluid loss, determine cause and rectify, subject to separate invoice

- Power steering: Check/correct oil level
Note In the case of oil loss, determine the cause and rectify, subject to a separate invoice. The oil level, in keeping with the oil temperature, must always be at the maximum mark.

- Windshield washer system: Check/correct washer fluid level
Note Summer/winter cleaner subject to separate invoice

Vehicle interior
Optional Plus package
- Check instrument cluster indicator lamps and interior illumination for proper operation
- Check windshield wipers, windshield washer system and headlamp cleaning system for proper operation

Complete wheels, brakes
Optional Plus package
- Check tire pressure, correct and record

Vehicle front end, vehicle rear end
Optional Plus package
- Check expiration date of TIREFIT tire repair kit and enter here
- Check spare wheel tire pressure, correct and enter here in bar or psi
- Trunk illumination: check function
