Validity All models of model series 218 in the VIN range between 218xxx 1A 001262 and 218xxx 1A 008165. Series production OK as of 04/2011.

Reason for change

Complaint:
Engine residual heat utilization possible only for a short time.

The fault code B107D14 is current and stored in the driver-side SAM control unit.

Cause:
The additional coolant pump may not have been installed..

Remedy:
Retrofit additional coolant pump with hose harness.

Install required parts as per EPC. The electrical connection line is already present (connector tied back).
