Actuator 'Intake camshaft' (cylinder bank 1) has an electrical fault or open circuit.


Possible cause:

- Y49/5 (Right camshaft intake solenoid)
- N10/1kC (Circuit 87 relay, engine)
- N10/1f21 (Fuse 21)

Test prerequisite

- Engine at idle
- Vehicle stationary
- Coolant temperature > 80° C
- Time since engine start> 60 s
Status of relevant actual value:
- Coolant temperature:Warning! Communication with ECU required.

- After the actuation it may be necessary to erase the fault memory!

- Measure direct current with multimeter between sockets [F.4] 100 and [M.27] 27 of the 126-pole socket box tester.
- Switch on ignition.
