Vehicle idle (bus idle)
So that when working on the regenerative braking system (RBS) no fault is stored in the control unit (RBS), vehicle idle must be ensured.
If vehicle idle (bus idle) is canceled during the work, this is displayed by the brake fluid warning lamp the first time the engine starts. The brake fluid warning lamp goes out the second time the engine starts.
The fault 5230 (volume balance) is stored in the control unit (RBS).

Conditions for vehicle idle (bus idle)
- Vehicle or wheels stationary
- Selector lever in position "P"
- Sliding roof closed
- Interior illumination (all) switched off
- Ignition OFF
- Ignition key removed (with Keyless Go: put down ignition key outside the transmitter range)
- Driver door opened ready for entry (with Keyless Go: Do not operate door handle)

Vehicle idle (bus idle) is canceled if:
- another vehicle of the same model series is unlocked in the two-way radio range
- Navi automatic adjustment of time carried out (every 24 hours)
- Stationary heater determines the inside and outside temperature automatically
